FAQ

Do I need a Polymarket account to start?

Yes. The bot signs orders with the private key from your Polygon wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, or any wallet that lets you export the key), and that wallet needs USDC deposited to its Polymarket Safe. Polymarket auto-creates the Safe the first time you trade on the site. Setup takes 5 minutes; the bot ships paused so you can review everything first.

How much money do I need?

Start with $50-100 USDC. The bot ships paused, so you can fund the wallet and review settings before activating. Trades are sized proportionally to your bankroll — small wallets get small per-trade sizes.

Can I copy multiple traders with one Polymarket account?

Yes — one Polymarket Safe handles up to 10 simultaneous targets. All trades route through the same on-chain wallet, with per-target attribution surfaced on the dashboard so you can see which traders are winning.

What if I lose money?

Built-in risk management: daily drawdown stop, max-exposure cap, max-position cap, and per-target pause. You can also flip the bot to PAUSED at any time and open positions resolve on-chain regardless.

Is my private key safe?

Your key is mounted as a Docker secret (read-only file inside an isolated per-user container, not visible in process listings or `docker inspect`), with mode-600 permissions on the host. Containers run with `cap_drop: ALL` and `no-new-privileges`, on a private Docker network. We never see your key in plaintext — you submit it directly to the encrypted setup endpoint and it goes straight into the secret store.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Click "Manage Subscription" in the dashboard footer — Stripe's hosted Customer Portal handles cancellation, payment-method updates, and invoice downloads. No contracts, no lock-in. Your bot stops automatically the moment cancellation processes.

What happens to open positions if I cancel?

Positions on Polymarket resolve on-chain regardless of the bot. Your funds are always in your Polymarket wallet, not ours.

How many traders can I copy at once?

Up to 10. Past 5, the dashboard warns about dilution — if your bankroll is small, every signal hits the $1 CLOB minimum and trades get throttled. We recommend 2–5 targets to start.

How do I know which trader is making me money?

Each target on your dashboard shows its own realized P&L, open positions, win rate, and (after 5+ resolved trades) Sharpe ratio, profit factor, and max drawdown — computed from only that target's trades. Pause underperformers with one click.
